THE COMPANY

“Vekrakis Imports S.A.” was founded in 1981, in Heraklion, Crete.

It is a dynamically developing company, active in the trade of seasonal products, packaging materials, furniture, fresh flowers & plants.

The product imports come mainly from the markets of China, India, Indonesia and the Netherlands.

Our strategic goal is to provide complete, high-quality propositions at competitive prices and prompt service. By having a specialized team of partners and faithfully following the new trends we are capable of meeting the ever-changing and increasing demands of our customers.

The company has three facilities.

• The headquarters of the company, where the administration along with the showroom and the department of fresh flowers and plants are co-located, is just outside of Heraklion, in the area of Karteros.
• The modern logistics center, with an area of 4,000 square meters, in the region of Thebes. It supplies the company’s customers throughout Greece as well as its headquarters in Crete.
• Finally, the retail store which is located in the center of Heraklion. In a site of a total area of over 2000 square meters. There is a large exhibition of home decorations, packaging materials and furniture.

The company employs 60 people and is organized into seven departments: purchasing, sales, financial department, Thebes logistics center, Crete warehouse, retail store and cut flower department.

VISION

The company’s vision is to maintain its leading position in the market, with a prominent role in providing optimal service to its partners. Furthermore, it aims for even greater coverage in Greece, Cyprus and abroad, through its participation in exhibitions throughout Europe, to consolidate itself as one of the leading companies in the import sector on a European standard.
